Artist in YOUR Residence!

Delaware Institute for the Arts in Education (DiAE) presents Delaware Wolf Trap (DWT) family workshops:

Artist in YOUR Residence – A Series of Virtual Learning Activities

Join us with one of our amazing Wolf Trap teaching artists (TA) for a series of fun family activities focused on literacy and/or math skills!  Your TA will lead children and their families on a Wolf Trap lesson with movement, music or imaginative play. You will receive more information regarding any household props that may be used after registration.  This program is best suited for children ages 3-5 and their families.

What is Delaware Wolf Trap (DWT)?

The DWT residency is a partnership between a Wolf Trap Teaching Artist and an early childhood educator to provide professional development for teachers while helping children learn through active participation. Classroom experiences in a DWT residency focuses on performing arts-integrated strategies to promote literacy and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts & math) development that teachers can use to foster young children’s learning and development. Classroom experiences in the residency will support early childhood curriculum standards and outcomes.
