The In-School Residency Program brings dance, drama, music, and visual arts professional Teaching Artists (TAs) and performers into Delaware public, private and charter schools.
This program is a partnership between a classroom teacher and a Teaching Artist that engages students in hands-on learning experiences through the arts. Students will have opportunities to form connections for a deeply layered and personal response to the art form and the subject addressed. Our goal is to engage students in all subjects by using the arts to foster a love of learning while promoting cultural awareness and respect as well as enhancing creativity and critical thinking skills.
