Introducing E.L.E.M.E.N.T.S. – Pop Up Arts-Integration for Today’s Classroom (Engaged Learning in Everyone Making Education New for Teachers and Students)
E.L.E.M.E.N.T.S. is a condensed version of our K-12 residency model which pairs a professional teaching artist with a classroom teacher. This program is targeted for elementary general education teachers to develop innovative ways to integrate the arts into the teacher’s planned curriculum.
It is a subscription program offering four different arts-integrated activities throughout the school year.  TAs collaborate with teachers to customize a series of in-class workshops that address Delaware Common Core State Standards and Standards for Visual and Performing Arts while offering opportunities for students to explore, create, and reflect on the art form. Each project includes a detailed lesson plan, video created by the TA for the classroom teacher to create the project with her/his students.

Spring 2021 DiAE delivered a pilot program – stay tuned for program information for 2022.
