    Jason is a freelance performer and educator living in Newark, DE. Being involved with music and the marching arts for almost fifteen years, he has worked with over a dozen percussion programs throughout Delaware and surrounding states. Among them are high schools, colleges and independent organizations, including the Baltimore Ravens, Shepherd University, Jersey Surf Drum & Bugle Corps, Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps, and United Percussion.

    Jason is the founder of J.K. Percussion & Arts, a company focused on assisting the growth of musicians and to help enhance performing arts programs throughout the state of Delaware and surrounding areas. Services include private lessons, music production and recording, workshops, and more. He has worked with individuals and groups all over the U.S. as well as internationally, with organizations located in Colombia and Guatemala.

    Jason studied Music at the University of Delaware. As a performer, he has played with a wide variety of ensembles including competitive marching ensembles, jazz bands, orchestras, funk bands, latin percussion ensembles, and more. He currently plays drumset for Reverse Giraffe, a hip-hop band based out of Newark.

    Jason is a proud endorser of Vic Firth sticks and mallets and Croaker Percussion.
